6 Ways to Improve Your Influence

Meet a Need, Educate and Entertain, Networking, Team of Winners, One-on-one Coaching, Recurring Cevenue

How do you improve your influence? How do you improve your impact? How do you improve your income in your industry?

You improve your influence and impact by becoming a mentor.

How do you become a mentor?

We break it down, M, E, N, T, O, R.

Letter M. First, you have to MEET a need. How do you meet a need? You find your niche. In my case, my niche is Alzheimer’s and Dementia. I met a need by looking for a need.

Next is letter “E.” You have to learn how to EDUCATE. You have to learn to educate people and entertain. You have to learn how to entertain them by educating them. How do you educate? You educate by having a podcast, a show, a Youtube video, a course that you teach. You go out of the community and you teach about whatever niche or need that you want to provide.

The next letter is “N.” Letter “n” is NETWORKING. You have to learn how to network with people who are going to push you to the next level. Speaking of networking, my first network is my coach Bert de Vera.

The other networking that I attend is the SSPT. If you haven’t been to SSPT, you have to attend the Smart Success Physical Therapy. You have to attend that. If you are a PT, OT, speech or physician, you have to attend that awesome group of people called Smart, Success for Physical Therapists. It is not just for Physical Therapists, it is actually for awesome people.

Speaking of networking, I just bought another course, got another coach. His name is Odell Bezel. You have to network with people. My next coach is a speaking coach. He is going to teach me how to be an awesome speaker. I have to level up and learn how to do the speaking business. Which I actually already do now – I speak, I talk, and I teach the Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia seminar every month.

I still want to get a coach for me to learn to be better and do more. You need to find a coach that will push you to the next level.

Next is letter “T.” You have to find a TEAM of winners. You cannot scale your business, you cannot scale your program if you don’t have any team. Right now, I have a team of therapist, a team of assistants and a team of virtual assistant that helps me get out and be the best that I can be.

The next letter is letter “O.” ONE-TO-ONE coaching. If you want to be a mentor, if you want to improve your influence and impact, you have to learn how to coach people one-on-one. If you teach people on the group that is awesome which I am doing already in my Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia course.

But I also do one-on-one coaching. If you want to be an awesome mentor, you have to learn to do one-on-one coaching and bring out the best in people that you are talking too.

The last letter is “R.” You have to find ways to have recurring or repeat revenue. How do you find recurring or repeat revenue? You sell a book, sell a course, sell something that is recurring like affiliate links thru Amazon. Buying real estate properties that pays you rent. You have to find repeat or recurring revenue.

That is my special tip for you today.

Six ways to improve your influence, impact and income in your industry.

First, meet a need, meet a niche. Educate and entertain people. You have to learn how to entertain and educate. Make them laugh. Network with winning people.

You are the average of the 5 people that you hangout with. If you hangout with losers, you are going to be a loser. If you hangout with the winners, you are going to be a winner. I don’t want to hangout with people who will pull me down.

The truth is I had to remove some of my friend on Facebook that are not winning in life. I take the off in my life. And same thing in real life, you have to network with people who will push you to the next level.

Team of winners. Find and employ people who are wining. If you are the smartest person in your team or in your company, guess what? You are not going to grow.

Find a better person that will push you to the next level in your team. My assistants, I know they are better than me.

Letter “O,” learn how to coach people. Excellent people coach people. One-on-one coaching. Letter “R,” repeat or recurring revenue.
