"The instructor was great. Dr. Chua kept the class active and had many experiences to share. He encouraged all of us to be the very best we can be.
Loved learning with other health care providers with the same interest in being the very best for our residents, clients, families or loved ones with Alzheimer's and dementia."

This was a very informative class. Even though I knew much of the content theoretically, I still learned so much because of all the great ideas presented by Mike and the other professionals in the class.
Mike didn't give a lecture - he facilitated an interactive experience with networking and fluid exchange of ideas born out of everyone's varied experiences.
This seminar was a worthwhile investment for healthcare providers or for anyone who works with individuals with dementia.

"I learned the types of Dementia and how to assist the client to engage in functional activity to prevent or decrease agitation of the caregiver and client.
I also learned how to conduct an interview regarding the client's abilities, physical function and cognitive status to best determine what level of assistance is needed to provide the best support.
This course helped me to understand how I can utilize my experience and knowledge to assist those with dementia and provide support the caregiver. "

"I already know most of the information on the CDP slides and book/manual since I've worked with the adult population for the past 5 years.
But Mike engaged and encouraged all the attendees to participate by presenting on a slide on two to develop confidence in presenting the materials to others and that was very beneficial because I was forced out of my comfort zone.
He also added real world information on how to market our new learning/certification in order to impact more service consumers in our community, and most of those are new knowledge."
Kailani B. Talton, OTR/L
