When you’re not exercising, your body gets weak.
If I don’t go out and walk, and go to the gym, my back hurts and I actually gain weight.
My knee hurts and I just can’t move around very fluidly.
Evidence shows that if a patient goes to the hospital for 3 to 3 days, they automatically lose 85% of their muscle strength.
That’s just 2 to 3 days of not doing anything.
What more if you are not doing anything for one week.
You have to be very intentional in exercising.
It doesn’t have to be complicated. You can just go and walk around your neighborhood.
You can even march in place at home with your loved ones.
If you are a caregiver, you need to be doing some exercises. You have to learn how to take care of yourself.
Self-care is very important. You cannot give what you do not have.
You cannot give money if you do not have enough money. You cannot give love if you don’t love yourself.
Obviously, you cannot give care to somebody else if you do not take care of yourself.
Take care of yourself by exercising everyday.
