- Choose the weight of the blanket at least 10% of the body weight. Usually 10% of your body weight plus 1 is the weight you should choose. At YnM you can find the most weights options. (Note: 1 lb less or more does not make that much difference). Recommend 48”x72” for twin bed, 60”x80” for queen bed, 80”x87” for king bed. Due to its weight, it’s not necessary to choose oversized blanket.
- YnM develop a new sewing desigh for weighted blanket in 2018. The organic cotton and LESS polyfill & MORE glass beads desigh is perfect for body temperature control. Cosy for four seasons. But due to its weight, for hot sleeper in summer, a fan or an airconditioner is recommended.
- We sew it into middle size compartments for evenly distribution and perfect adaption to the body. The compartments are evenly filled with hypo-allergenic, non-toxic, odorless premium glass beads. The glass beads are quiet when you turn over and it’s not bumpy like other plastic pellets weighted blanket.
- The weighted inner layer is machine-washable on a low, gentle setting. Recommend dry-clean. A better option is to purchase a removable duvet cover for easier cleaning. The weighted inner layer and the duvet cover are sold separately.
- Please don’t use it on your little ones or people who can’t move the heavy blanket themselves.
